Ik weet als geen ander hoe frustrerend het is om elke maand weer door dezelfde cyclus van klachten te gaan. Voor mij was het altijd hetzelfde: pijnlijke borsten, stemmingswisselingen, vermoeidheid, acne – en mijn menstruatie? Die voelde nooit zoals het zou moeten zijn. Elke maand opnieuw zat ik vast in die vicieuze cirkel, en ik dacht dat ik er niets aan kon doen.

Het gekke is, ik dacht dat ik alles goed deed. Ik sportte veel, at supergezond en leefde bewust. Maar toch voelde ik me de helft van de maand niet mezelf. Dat onbegrip frustreerde me enorm.
